The A.C.E. Team

The A.C.E.  team is changing the world one day and one client at a time.  We do what matters! The A.C.E. program is based on the principles of the science of behavior analysis and  the approach to services is data driven, analytical and supportive.   All clients programs are based on language and behavioral  assessments.   A.C.E. uses the  VB-MAPP, Essential for Living, and the Inventory of Good Learner Repertoires.

Cindy Mrotek

Cindy Mrotek is a certified special education teacher and a board certified assistant behavior analyst (BcaBA). She has 18 years experience developing programs and interventions for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, in public and private sectors. Cindy has extensive experience in coaching and training staff on behavior interventions, development of behavior intervention plans, and development of Individualized Education Programs (IEP). Additionally, Cindy has worked with educational attorneys (for families and school districts) to ensure that Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) is being met.

Pat Hooper

Pat is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a retired school counselor. From owning a childrens resale shop to training in montessori education to working in human services, the one common thread was children. As"late bloomer" Pat discovered how to change the world with behavior analysis as a "returning student" 18 years ago. She has worked since in the public schools as a school counselor, behavior specialist and a consultant to schools. As B.F.Skinner advised, "If you're old, don't try to change yourself, change your environment." Pat continues to change her environment to fit her busy life as a wife, mom, grandma, and friend.

Kimberly Malloy

Kimberly Malloy is a native from the South side of Chicago. Kim has worked in special education for 12 years. She began as a paraprofessional in an early childhood program which inspired her to pursue her teaching degree. Troy Fry

Troy Fry, M.S., BCBA, received his M.S. degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Troy has worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities in various settings across the US and Western Europe for the past 25 years. He is also the co-author of Essentials for Living with Dr. Patrick McGreevy.

Dr. Patrick McGreevy

Dr. McGreevy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 30 years of experience with children and adults of all ages with developmental disabilities. Dr. McGreevy received B.S. and M.A. degrees from the University of Iowa and the Ph.D. degree in Education from Kansas University, where he was a student of Ogden R. Lindsley, who, in turn, was a student of B.F. Skinner.  He directs a clinic in Orlando, FL and serves as an assistant professor in the Applied Behavior Analysis Program at the Florida Institute of Technology. He is the first author of Essential for Living, a new functional life skills curriculum, assessment, and professional practitioner’s handbook for children and adults with moderate-to-severe disabilitie
